The manor house of the Lords of Velen is first mentioned in 1240. From 1426 the
estate receives the designation CASTLE. In the following centuries the most famous architects of the region designed the harmonious whole of the moated castle.
During a fire in 1931 the building substance was largely destroyed, but the exterior
was rebuilt unchanged.

We are looking forward to a very special conference in this historical ambience.

In the shadow of the castle lies the extensive historical zoo of Velen. Like its famous
model, the great Tiergarten in Berlin, it is a landscape garden, first mentioned in 1707.

After specialized lectures and workshops, quiet paths invite visitors to take a relaxing
walk in historical paths.

We would like to use the time together for an intensive dialogue.
In addition to an extensive seminar program, news about products and markets,
we would like to enjoy the togetherness.
